History
The Partridge family have been providing the people of Worcestershire with the finest local meat over five generations, since 1880.

Ron Partridge Delivering Fresh Meat

Issac Partridge began the family business, which he passed onto his son, Frederick. Charles Partridge, the son of Frederick is the present day owner, running the traditional meat company with his son and grandson, David and Andrew.

Originally, the firm operated from two shops, one in the High Street and one on the corner of Broad Street. In 1984, due to the excellent location of the Broad Street shop, the High Street shop was closed in order to revamp the Broad Street shop, which trebled in size, where the family trade today.

Charles and David rear all the meat sold through the shop, on the family owned ‘Washingstocks Farm’, which is less than half a mile away from the shop. On site at the farm is Worcestershire’s only abattoir, which supplies meat across Worcestershire and the West Midlands with free range well hung Beef and finest English Lamb both reared by David himself and quality meal fed Pork.
